The 78th Commencement Exercise of the Northwestern Visayan Colleges held this June 19 and 20, 2026 at the ABL Sports Complex. Program is also supported by notable academic and administrative figures, including board members, deans, and executive committee members.
"This achievement did not come easy behind every diploma is a story of sacrifice, determination, sleepless nights, deadlines, examinations and challenges that at times may have seem impossible to overcome—yet here you are today stronger, wiser and ready to take on the next chapter of your life."
This message was delivered by the Second District Congressman of Aklan Cong. Joeben Miraflores, he is also an alumna of the institution. An inspiring message that highlights the life of graduates and also motivates them as they transition into the next phase of their lives.
A significant portion of the ceremony is dedicated to academic rites such as the imposition of hoods and the presentation of diplomas, honors, and special awards. These traditions symbolize the culmination of years of academic effort and the formal recognition of graduates’ achievements.
This is complemented by the Valedictory Speech of the batch 2026. Representing the voice and earned experiences of the graduating class all throughout their college years.
The event concludes with lighter yet meaningful dance and class pictorial, capturing a moment of achievement and camaraderie among graduates. This event serves as a ceremonial event that celebrates academic excellence, honors and reinforces institutional values, captures not only the achievements of the graduates but also the collective pride of the academic community.
