𝗡𝗩𝗖 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 3𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗲

The NVC Debate Team proudly secured 3rd place at the Inter-School Parliamentary Debate Competition held on August 22, 2025, at the ACC Annex Covered Court.

The team was composed of skilled speakers Adrian Lasay, Nica Custodio, and Princess Cauilan, supported by researchers Anthony Española and Althia Jane Nobleza, under the mentorship of their coach, Joecel R. Cuenca.

Cuenca expressed pride in the team’s achievement, noting that it reflects the capability and competitiveness of NVC students in public speaking. He hopes this success will inspire other NVCians to pursue their passion for research and debating.

Emerging as Champion of the competition was ASU Banga, while Aklan Catholic College (ACC) claimed 2nd place.

Organized by the Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation with the Local Youth Development Council and the Local Youth Development Office, the event was part of the Linggo ng Kabataan celebration mandated by Republic Act 10472. With the theme “Local Youth Actions for Sustainable Goals and Beyond,” it underscored the vital role of young people in advancing sustainable development and strengthening community engagement.
